Drachma

Drachma, an Attic weight, of about 66 grains; the AEginetan drachma weighed about 100 grains; the silver coin of the same name was worth about a franc (i.e. nearly 10d.). It contained six obols. The modern Greek drachma is the equivalent of the franc.
