Dorner

Dorner, Isaak August (1809-1884), a German theologian, born near Tuttlingen, in Wurtemberg. After studying philosophy and theology at Tubingen he travelled in England and Holland and filled various chairs till called to Berlin in 1851. He had great influence, and his writings had much to do with forming modern German theology.
