Dinotherium

Dinotherium, ec gigantic fossil proboscidian found in the Miocene beds of Hesse Darmstadt, France, Greece, and India. Its skull, measuring -H feet in length and 3 feet in breadth, indicates an animal larger than the elephant. It has ten molar teeth in each jaw, and the lower jaw is bent downwards anteriorly and has two huge tusk-like incisors bent downward and backward.
