Dhangar
Dhangar, a chief division of the Oraon, or primitive people of Orissa, south-east Bengal, but found also in Behar and on the frontier of Assam; appear to be originally of Kolarian stock, but are now largely assimilated to the surrounding Aryans, and generally speak neo-Sanscritic languages - Oraon, Bengali, or Assami, according to the districts in which they are settled.
