Dendrophis

Dendrophis, a genus of harmless Colubriform snakes, the type of a family (Dendrophidae), with six other genera, all tropical, but chiefly from the Oriental region. They are popularly known as Tree-snakes, are active, arboreal, slender in form, usually green in colour, and prey on tree-lizards.
