Delitzsch Franz

Delitzsch, Franz, born at Leipsic in 1813. attained eminence as a theologian and student of Jewish antiquities. His History of Jewish Poetry appeared in 1836, and among the most successful of his later works may be mentioned Biblical Psychology, Christian Apologeties, A Day in Capernaum, and a valuable commentary on Isaiah. He died in 1890.
