Delia Cruscans
Delia Cruscans, a set of writers of affected and insipid English verse, who resided at Florence towards the close of the last century, and borrowed their name from the Accademia Della Crusca, a learned society at Florence. They were savagely satirised by Gifford (q.v.) in the Baviad and Maeviad.
