Dafir
Dafir (Zafir, Zefir), one of the great Bedouin tribes of Arabia, occupying all the north-eastern part of the peninsula between Nejd and the Lower Euphrates. They comprise six main branches : Beni Said, el-Areif, Ab'edra'a, el-Na'alim, el-Feluh, and el-Messamir, with a large number of subdivisions. Their domain is limited on the north-west by that of the Anezeh Bedouins, and on the north by the Montefiks of the Euphrates Valley.
