Curtis

Curtis, George William (b. 1824), an American writer, who in 1850 joined the staff of the New York Tribune. From 1852 to 1869 he was joint editor of Putnam's Monthly Mayazine, in 1853 took part in editing Harper's Monthly, and in 1S57 of Harper's Weekly. In these magazines he published some novels, among them Trumps in 1862.
