Coster

Coster, properly Laurens Janszoon (about 1370-1410), said by the Dutch to have invented printing. He was born at Haarlem, where he passed his life, and died of the plague. A controversy as to the respective claims of Coster and Gutenberg to the invention of printing is not yet finally settled.
