Clarenceand Avondale

Clarence and Avondale, Duke of, Prince Albert Victor, the eldest son of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, and grandson of Queen Victoria, was born in 1864. Educated at Cambridge, he visited India in 1889, but died in 1892, a few months after his betrothal, the succession passing to his brother, George.
