Child Lydia Maria

Child, Lydia Maria, writer, was born in 1802 in Medford, Massachusetts. Her maiden name was Francis, and in 1828 she married David Lee Child, a journalist. Together they edited the Anti-Slavery Standard, in New York. Her works are chiefly novels. She died in 1880.
