Budgerigar

Budgerigar, a dealers' corruption of the native name of Melopsittacus undulatus, a small Australian parrakeet, common in this country as a cage-bird. It is about the size of a sparrow, with green and yellow plumage, pencilled with black. Called also Undulated Grass Parrakeet.
