Brookite

Brookite, a crystalline form of oxide of titanium, specific gravity 4.2; yellowish colour or colourless, and metallic lustre. Its crystalline system is not well established, either rhombic or monoclinic. This oxide is remarkable, as it crystallises in two other distinct forms, anatase and rutile (q.v.).
