Bornholm
Bornholm, a Danish island in the Baltic, covers an area of over 200 square miles, and is 90 miles E. of Zealand and 25 miles S. of Sweden. Excepting at Ronne, the capital on the W. coast, the island is destitute of good and safe harbours. It is fertile in the main, agriculture, cattle raising, and fishing being the staple support of its inhabitants. It yields also good building-stone, marble, porcelain-clay, and an inferior quality of coal.
