Bopyridae

Bopyridae, a family of Isopoda, parasitic in the branchial cavity of certain Crustacea, e.g. Bopyrus squillarum in that of the Prawn. The usual degeneration has followed the parasitism, and the body is discoid, and has lost its segmentation and eyes.
