Bettwsy Coed
Bettws-y-Coed (pron. Betoos-y-co-ed, Welsh a pleasant spot in a wood), a village and parish, with a railway station, in the E. of Carnarvonshire, North Wales, 3-1/2 miles from Llanrwst. It is a favourite resort of tourists and anglers, and is a convenient starting-point for ascending Snowdon from the east.
