Beroe

Beroe is the type genus of Beroidae, a family of jellyfish of the order Ctenophora; each Beroe consists of a small egg-shaped jelly-like mass. It differs from the common Pleurobrachia, which it most resembles, by the absence of the long tactile filaments.
