Benue
Benue, Binue, Benuwe, or Chadda, a river in Upper Guinea (Niger Protectorate), West Africa. It joins the Quorra, or Niger, on the left at some 230 miles above its mouth, having flowed down from the mountains in the Adamawa country, a distance of about 300 miles. The Royal Niger Company since 1886 has navigated most of its course.
