Behm

Behm, Dr. Ernst, geographer, was born in 1830, at Gotha. At first chief assistant in the editorship of the Mittheilungen, a geographical periodical, he became, in 1878, editor himself on Dr. Petermann's death. He also commenced in 1872 a statistical supplement to the Mittheilungen, and in 1876 became the statistician for the Almanack de Gotha. He died in 1884 in his native town.
