Bathurst Canada

Bathurst, Canada, a district of Upper Canada, on the right bank of the Ottawa river, with an area of 1,700 square miles. It is an important agricultural centre, and has rapidly grown in population. There are also in North America - Bathurst Land, lat. 75° N, long. 100° W.; Cape Bathurst, lat. 70° 30' N., Idng. 127° 30' W.; Bathurst Inlet, lat. 67° 30' N., long. 109° W.; and Bathurst Lake, in the centre of Newfoundland.
