Arnobius
Arnobius, (1) The Elder, an African convert to Christianity, born in Numidia about the middle of the third century. He wrote a Latin treatise in support of his new faith (Disputationum adversus Gentes, libri vii.). Lactantius was his pupil.
2. The Younger, was a Gallic bishop or presbyter, who flourished, at Marseilles about 460 A.D. He wrote a commentary on the Psalms which is tinged with Pelagianism, and this fact has induced some to believe that he was the author of an anonymous treatise entitled Praedestinatus.
