Argiro Kostro

Argiro-Kostro, or Argyro-Castron (Turk. Ergeri), a town in the province of Avlona, Albania, on the left bank of the river Vajutza. It was, until 1814, when depopulated by the plague, a place of some importance. A particular kind of fine snuff is made here.
