Aquaviva
Aquaviva, or Acquaviva, Claudius, a member of a distinguished Neapolitan family, who was born in 1542, and became in 1581 General of the Order of Jesuits. He drew up the Ratio Studiorum for their guidance, and he took an active interest in the Molinist controversy. His death took place in 1615.
