Anachronism

Anachronism, the placing of an event or custom at a wrong chronological date. A celebrated anachronism is the incident of AEneas and Dido in Virgil's AEneid, as AEneas must have lived some two hundred years before the building of Carthage. Anachronisms are frequent in Shakespeare.
