Maria Theresa. Born in 1717. Queen of Hungary, and daughter of the Emperor Charles VI. Married Francis of Lorraine in 1736, and was supported by England against the Elector of Bavaria, who claimed the empire, and was supported by France. Carried on the Seven Years' War, with the help of France, against Prussia, who had obtained the first partition of Poland. Died 1780.
