Creasy (kre'se), Sir Edward. An English historian. Born in 1812. Author of "Fifteen Decisive Battles of the World," which has become very widely known; "The Rise and Progress of the English Constitution" (1856); and a "History of England," the first volume of which was published in 1869. Died 1878.
