Description of Simple
Text
For purposes of the Translation Helper, a
simple text file is a file that contains
nothing but text. No formatting, nothing but
ASCII characters.
Unless you specify otherwise, a computer
program (such as Word or Excel) will save
your work in its own special format (for
example, Word creates .doc files and Excel
creates .xls files). This enables it to add
formatting of various kinds.
However, we don't want that formatting, so
the file needs to be saved differently.
